THOSE OF YOU who follow Trafford FC will know that last week we lost one of our Trafford Family with the passing of Kathleen Flowers. Kath was a wonderful, wonderful lady who volunteered at Shawe View, working on the Tea Bar for over 20 years and doing many other things behind the scenes, not least of which was just being around the club with her lovely warm personality and friendly smile.
Trafford FC was honoured to host members of Kathleen’s family plus some of her dearest friends on Saturday, as guests of the club for our home game versus Kidsgrove Athletic. Prior to the game, a pitchside presentation was made to Kathleen’s family followed by a minute’s applause observed by everybody in the stadium – supporters, players, and officials. Our picture shows Kath’s family and friends standing in honour of an amazing human being, just before kick off. Rest in peace Kathleen. We will miss you so much x
