This afternoon at 3pm (Saturday 10th July) Football comes home to Shawe View! We cannot wait to welcome supporters back for a real-life football match on our award-winning pitch, and we look forward to taking on our opponents from National League North, Curzon Ashton, in this pre-season friendly.
Ahead of the event there are some essential “Need-to-Knows” for you all:
You can still obtain advance tickets via the Shocal App on your phone or other device.
Ticket prices are: £5 adults, £3 concessions, £1 children (U16).
Cash walk-ins are also available at the turnstile. Gates open at 1pm.
All spectators MUST provide track & trace info either via the Shocal App or on entrance to the stadium. You can do this by either scanning our unique QR code, or by giving our staff your details manually. Anyone not complying may be refused entry.
Our licensed bar is open but with strict conditions: We are unable to provide indoor seating presently, so a queuing system will guide our customers one-way to purchase drinks and return outside. Face masks MUST be worn at all times whilst within this queuing system until you are back outside and away from the clubhouse.
Our snacks/tea hut is fully open with similar restrictions, albeit the queue is not indoors.
Cash and cards are accepted at all till points.
Please observe any social distancing rules which remain in place. Watch the game in your “bubble” and keep your distance from others as you would normally. We have plenty of standing room all around the stadium. Seating is available but at present is limited due to some seats being taped off for social distancing reasons.
Please listen to any directives given to you by our friendly stewards. Our PA announcers will also provide information over the tannoy system before the game and at half time, so keep your ears open between the music!
We have a new waste system at Shawe View this season. We are now able to do more recycling and this will manifest itself very simply for you, our lovely spectators: You will see TWO types of waste bin around the stadium – one for recyclables (cans, bottles, plastics including plastic drinks containers, cardboard) and another for general waste (food waste, serviettes etc.) PLEASE PEASE PLEASE put your waste in the correct bin!
WE ARE FOLLOWING EVERY GUIDELINE provided to us by the government, the FA, and our local authority Trafford Council to keep this event as safe as possible in terms of Covid, whilst maintaining the enjoyment of watching live football. Please be like us and we WILL enjoy it, all of us! Many thanks, and COME ON THE TRAFFORD!!!
