Further to the FA’s announcement on the admittance of spectators into matches, we can confirm that in accordance with the guidelines issued, we will be OPEN FOR BUSINESS on Sat 22/08/20 for our friendly vs Ashton Athletic. There are, of course, strict rules to adhere to. To ensure we adhere to the social distancing regs, we can initially only admit up to a maximum of 200. Advance tickets will be available to buy online with @Shocal1 (Twitter) & we will provide a link to the app shortly; this method will guarantee your admittance to the game. The turnstiles will still be open for a limited number of pay-on-the-day admissions up to kick off at 3pm.

There will be one way systems in place for the bar & tea hut and we ask you all to kindly adhere to these, for your own good health & that of your fellow supporters. The tea hut will be serving a reduced menu of hot snacks along with the usual selection of hot & cold drinks but please note it’s still cash only at the tea hut currently. Card payments are accepted at the bar which will be open & serving the usual selection of drinks.

In order to maintain social distancing measures, we have had to restrict certain areas of the ground for standing & seating. There will be clear markings of any areas which are not accessible & of those areas where standing will not be permitted; please check for signage. Finally we ask you to be patient as we all get used to the ‘new normal’ & please respect the measures we have taken to make you feel safe at the club. The health of our supporters, players, management, staff & volunteers is our priority; we need you to help us keep you safe. We ask that you only attend the match if you feel well; if you or any members of your household have any symptoms of COVID, please stay at home.
