Known to most around the club simply as PD, Paul Delaney is Trafford FC’s Club Secretary, playing an important role in the day-to-day running of the club.

Working behind the scenes, PD helps keep things organised, from club administration and fixture coordination to supporting matchday operations and ensuring everything runs smoothly both on and off the pitch.

With a background in digital marketing, website management and technology, Paul also brings valuable skills to the club’s digital presence and communications.

PD’s football journey is firmly rooted in the grassroots game, having been involved with Flixton Juniors AFC and currently coaching and part of the management committee at AFC Meadowside. From organising fixtures and dealing with the endless challenges of running a football club to discovering that volunteers are worth their weight in gold, he’s seen plenty of what goes on behind the scenes.

Passionate about Trafford FC and non-league football, PD is committed to helping the club grow, improve and move forward while maintaining the community spirit that makes Trafford special.

Often behind the scenes, occasionally in the spotlight, but always working for the club.
