Trafford welcome TADCASTER ALBION to the Home Estates Shawe View Stadium this Saturday, 21st December K.O. 3pm.
Manager Tom Baker and his staff will be hoping the team get back to winning ways following last Saturday’s tough-to-take late defeat at Runcorn Linnets.
Tadcaster are currently 7th in the Bet Victor NPL NW Division, a point behind Trafford but with 4 games in hand. We visited “Taddy” on the opening day of the season for a game which saw the home side snatch a 2-1 victory after a late, 40-yard wonder strike from their midfielder Jonathan Margetts.
A change of manager at the Global Stadium at the end of October saw two consecutive defeats for Tadcaster, albeit against strong opposition in league leaders Workington and play-off contenders Marske Utd. Form has picked up since with 2 wins and a draw, which includes an excellent 5-1 away victory in their last game versus City of Liverpool FC.
Albion players to watch out for are top scorer Jake Day, and on form Bokinji Mbeka Lebrun who has 3 goals in his last 2 games.
Admission is £8 with concessions for juniors, OAP’s etc. Licensed bar and hot food & drinks available.
Don’t forget that after this game, the Trafford FC Christmas Draw will take place. Last minute tickets will be available during the game (price £1 each). £100 cash is the 1st prize, 2nd prize a Christmas Hamper. Many other prizes also. TRAFFORD FC – GET INVOLVED!
