Sadly, today’s game versus Stalybridge Celtic has fallen foul of the heavy rain overnight. A pitch inspection by one of the match officials at 10am this morning has confirmed the playing surface is unplayable due to approximately 25% of it being under water. In addition, one entire side of the stadium is out of action for spectators due to being under about two inches of water. So to be clear – today’s game is OFF. A new date will be announced in the near future.
Our next game is this coming Saturday 4th January away at Bootle; Our next home game is 18th January when Witton Albion are the visitors.
