2026/27 Fixtures Released
The wait is over! Trafford FC can now confirm our 2026/27 North West Counties Football League Premier Division fixtures following the league’s official release. The campaign begins with our first home league fixture as we welcome Longridge Town to Shawe View on Saturday 1 August then we go on a trip to Abbey Hey on Tuesday 18 August. Emirates FA Cup 26/27 – Extra Preliminary Round Draw
The draw for the Extra Preliminary Round of the FA Cup has been made today, and Trafford have been drawn away against Northern Counties East League Premier Division Worsbrough Bridge Athletic F.C. Runcorn Linnets await the victors in the next round. Tie to be played on Saturday 8th August 3pm KO. A coach trip is being planned so keep an eye out for more details.
New Signing – Connor Beard
Trafford FC are delighted to announce a NEW signing – Connor Beard! Connor had a really strong season at Abbey Hey, making 42 appearances. He has had a few options from other clubs at during the summer break. He’s a good age with plenty of experience and brings that to Shawe View as our number 1 Welcome to Trafford Connor, we’re delighted to have you here!
New Signing – Jake Dunford
Trafford FC are delighted to announce a NEW signing – Jake Dunford! Jake has really good experience at this level having been with Padiham , West Didsbury, and most recently Abbey Hey. New Signing – Moses Yoak
Trafford FC are delighted to announce a NEW signing – Moses Yoak! Centre back / centre midfield Moses is someone who worked with Simon Heaton at Abbey Hey and was a key player for them. He played several positions and won multiple awards last season. He had plenty of options this summer, but was really keen to come to Trafford. I am really looking forward to working with
New Signing – David Worrall
Trafford FC are delighted to announce a NEW signing – David Worrall! David joins on 1/7 after his contract ends at Barrow. A vastly experienced winger and midfielder, Worrall has racked up over 600 senior appearances in his career. Winning promotion with Millwall in 2017 and being named Port Vale club’s Player of the Year for 2019–20, also named in the 2020–21 EFL League Two Team of the Season.
