Competition: FA Vase

Bile Ahmed

Bile remains an important part of Trafford’s plans after committing to the club for the 2026/27 season following relegation from the Northern Premier League West Division. Retained by manager Tom Baker as part of the club’s rebuilding programme, Ahmed offers creativity, technical quality and versatility across the attacking midfield positions.

A confident player in possession, Ahmed enjoys receiving the ball in tight areas and linking play between midfield and attack. His ability to unlock defences with intelligent passing and positive movement gives Trafford another creative outlet, while his willingness to work hard without the ball fits perfectly with the team’s style of play. Having already made his first competitive appearance of the new campaign in the Emirates FA Cup, Ahmed will be looking to build on his 33 appearances and two goals for the club as he continues to establish himself as an influential member of the first-team squad.

Scott Sephton

Experienced defender and midfielder Scott Sephton returned to Trafford during the 2025/26 campaign, renewing his association with manager Tom Baker following an earlier spell at Shawe View.

Sephton was part of the Trafford squad that reached the Northern Premier League play-offs during Baker’s first spell in charge, before gaining further experience elsewhere in North West non-league football, including at Ramsbottom United.

A versatile and physically imposing player, Sephton combines defensive strength with leadership and an ability to contribute goals from midfield.

His return brought valuable experience and familiarity to the Trafford squad, strengthening the Whites both on and off the pitch.

George Unsworth

Midfielder George Unsworth has represented Trafford at first-team and reserve-team level, developing his experience within the club’s senior football setup.

A composed and technically capable player, Unsworth is comfortable in possession and has demonstrated an ability to dictate the tempo of matches through his passing and positional awareness.

Having made eight senior appearances for the Whites, Unsworth was among the players retained ahead of the 2026/27 campaign, continuing his association with the club at Shawe View.

Harry Norris

Club captain Harry Norris continues to be one of the defining figures of modern Trafford FC. Having now amassed 172 appearances and seven goals, Harry’s commitment, leadership and consistency have made him one of the most respected players to wear the white shirt. His decision to remain at Shawe View following the 2025/26 season provided an important foundation for the club’s rebuild under Tom Baker.

Harry has started all three of Trafford’s competitive fixtures this season and has already found the net, scoring in the Emirates FA Cup. Strong in the air, composed in possession and an outstanding organiser, he leads by example every time he steps onto the pitch. Whether defending his own penalty area or encouraging teammates through difficult moments, Harry embodies the values Trafford FC prides itself on and will once again play a central role in the club’s ambitions this season.

Mackena Bradshaw

Mackena Bradshaw has continued to establish himself as an important member of Trafford’s midfield after committing his future to the club for the 2026/27 campaign. Having already made 40 appearances and scored three goals in Trafford colours, he has become recognised for his energy, determination and willingness to contribute in every phase of the game.

Comfortable operating in central midfield, Mackena thrives on winning possession, supporting teammates and driving the team forward with purposeful running. Already featuring twice from the bench during the opening weeks of the new season, he continues to provide Tom Baker with an energetic option capable of influencing matches. His commitment to the club following relegation reflects both his character and belief in Trafford’s ambitions, and supporters can expect him to remain an important contributor throughout the campaign.

Brad Byrne

Brad Byrne has become one of Trafford’s most dependable performers since joining the club in 2024. Entering the 2026/27 season with 90 appearances and four goals to his name, Brad’s consistency and professionalism have made him a valued member of the dressing room and an important part of Tom Baker’s rebuilding plans.

A versatile midfielder capable of filling a variety of roles, Brad combines tireless work rate with excellent tactical awareness. Whether protecting the defence, driving forward with the ball or supporting attacks, he approaches every game with the same determination and commitment. Having already added another appearance this season, Brad continues to provide valuable experience alongside a squad containing several new faces. His reliability and team-first attitude make him an invaluable asset as Trafford pursue promotion.

Sean Higgins

One of Trafford’s longest-serving players, Sean has now made 115 appearances in white, scoring four goals. His experience, versatility and consistency make him an invaluable member of the squad as the club looks to challenge towards the top of the North West Counties Premier Division.
